Women’s Fertility Checkup

Abdominal and Transvaginal USG

One of the better ways to get an accurate picture of organs is through ultrasonography (USG). With options for both 2 and 4-dimensional imaging, we can have a look into the condition of your reproductive organs to make sure that there are no problems.

You can have multiple checkups too to watch over the growth of egg cell follicles, the little pockets in the ovary where the egg cells mature. This especially helps during the cell stimulation phase in assisted pregnancy programs.

Female Hormone Profile

Reproductive cells’ life cycle relies heavily on the mother’s bodily condition, and you can tell what’s going on with a person’s body by looking at the chemicals they use to regulate themselves: the hormones. This is called hormone profiling, and we have separate instances for males and females. Hormone profiling, as its name suggests, monitors the hormonal situation in your body to determine the overall health or find out what’s likely going on with your present issues.

For example, issues such as irregular periods, fat buildup, or excessive acnes are often tied with a woman’s hormonal situation. Hormone profiling can also be used to monitor the growth of egg cell follicles, especially during the cell stimulation stage of an assisted pregnancy program.

Hysterosalpingography (HSG)

There are other ways to see what’s going on inside your body. Hysterosalpingography, or HSG for short, is a radiological checkup using X-ray and contrast fluids to see if there are any disorders on your womb and fallopian tubes.

Our radiologist will monitor how the contrast fluids move and behave inside you. Using this information, doctors can see if any clogging occurred in the fallopian tubes, or even if there happens to be any irregularities with the structure of your womb.

Laparoscopy
Bayi Tabung Bali

Also known as ‘keyhole surgery’. Laparoscopy is a minimally invasive procedure mainly intended as a diagnostic tool to detect anomalies like infections, cysts, fibroid, organ adhesion, and others. Using a very small incision on your stomach walls, our doctors will insert a tiny camera using a thin tube called the laparoscope. Equipped with lights at the end, this camera will allow a direct line of sight into your organs without having to undergo a full-on invasive surgery. This saves you both the time and the pain of having to risk opening up your organs just to figure out, and help treat, any irregularities that you may have.

Endometrial Biopsy

The womb has two layers, one of which is called the endometrium. You would find it lining the insides of the womb. However, not only does it act as the inner walls of the womb, the endometrium is also a very good indicator of whether hormonal problems are present.

The structure of the endometrium, and its thickness, changes with the menstrual cycle, triggered by the hormonal responses in the body. When a woman is pregnant, the endometrial walls will thicken in response to the increased estrogen to prepare for the fetal growth. In contrast, when fertilization did not occur, the endometrium will thin in response to the increased progesterone, which would be the blood flow that came out during your period.

This kind of biological checkup is also called a biopsy, and it is what we offer: one of the better, and more accurate ways of telling what’s going on in your womb and body in general. Consult our doctor to get a picture of what treatment and plans you should take.
