Who will be the doctors responsible for me?
The WIN team consists of obstetrics and gynecology (obgyn) specialist who consult in fertility and endocrinology, an andrologist who consults in fertility, a embryologists, and nurses specializing in infertility care and treatments.
You can see our roster of doctors here.
When is it best for me to consult the first time?
It's generally recommended to have your first consultation as early as possible. For couples looking to have children as soon as they can, you may even consult before your marriage. You should come to the consultation with your spouse, because problems with fertility may come from either end.
Consulting with our obgyn specialist is recommended during the second day of your period. Meanwhile, consulting with our andrologist generally prerequires sperm analysis.
You can book an appointment through our primary or secondary hotline.
Is it necessary to have a full lab checkup before beginning a program?
You're generally required to have performed specific checkups, such as sperm analysis, before consulting our andrologist. Lab checks or consulting with our obgyn specialist usually depends on the patient's health situations. It's recommended to consult with our doctors beforehand so that we can aid you with the proper checkups at the right times, and we'd be glad to lend you a hand with the programs you may need for preliminary checkups.
Give our hotline a call for further consulting.
What are the differences between the IUI and IVF programs?
1. Sperm condition: With IUI, the father's sperm cells should be in normal condition. In our WIN unit, the sperm will be extracted, selected, and then inserted into the womb. On the other hand, one of the indicators for IVF is that the father's sperm cells aren't normal. The IVF program allows a father with low sperm count to still have children.
2. Fallopian tubes condition: With IUI, the tubes must be unclogged, because the fertilization is still expected to occur normally. With IVF, however, a clogged fallopian tube is an indicator for the program, where the sperm and the egg will be put together outside the womb. This allows us to render the tube clogging irrelevant to the fertilization of the mother's eggs.
3. Egg cell count: With IVF, stimulation is more extensively done on the mother's egg cells compared to that with IUI. If the egg cell count is low and the mother is older than 35, the doctor may recommend that you take the IVF program. Apart from the higher chance of fertilization, the mother's egg cell deposits may be frozen for future use.
4. Success rates: IVF has a generally higher success rate than IUI. In EHSRE's annual report, IUI was stated to have a successful birth rate of 8.6%, while the rate for IVF was 22.2%.

Is it possible to select the baby's birth sex through our programs?
With certain terms and conditions, you can select your baby's birth sex with WIN Fertility Center, both in IUI and IVF programs. Book an appointment with our doctors for further details regarding this option.
What are the success rates?
In pregnancy programs, the likelihood of success is tied to many factors, such as medical circumstances of the parents, the mother's age, and so on. In other words, the general worldwide success rates are less descriptive of your own personal chances and should be treated as more of a statistical preview. You can consult our doctors to understand what circumstances affect your personal chances and how.
Worldwide, the general pregnancy rates for IUI stands at 10% to 20%, while the pregnancy rates for IVF stands between 35% and 50%. Give us a call if you have further inquiries.
Is the result of birth sex selection a 100% certainty?
According to WHO, the success rate of birth sex selection through X-Y sperm separation is as high as 91% for female child programs and 76% for male child programs.
Does undergoing a program guarantee my success in pregnancy?
Unfortunately, no. The existing pregnancy assistance programs of today only assist with the process of achieving pregnancy, but they do not guarantee the success of that pregnancy itself. Of course, our doctors are more than happy to provide help with what worries you may have regarding the programs, and you can rest assured they will only provide the best support to help you achieve success in your efforts.
If my program failed, when can I start again?
In the case of failure, it's actually encouraged to immediately start over with the program, or attempt another program. The WIN team will make sure what problems occurred the last time that could have led to the failure. In fact, delaying the start of the program would decrease the likelihood of success.

Do you have tips for parents starting a program?
The success of an assisted pregnancy program depends heavily on both the physical and psychological fitness of the parents undertaking the program. Therefore, it's always best to be prepared in as many terms as you can: physically, mentally, and financially, among others. The support of your spouse and family also tend to play heavily into your overall mood during the program, which can increase the likelihood of success.
Have no worries—WIN is here for you all the way, every step of the way.
